Volunteering FAQs

Still have questions? Check out some of the most frequently asked below.

How do I apply?

Once you’ve found a vacancy you’re interested in, complete the online application form, ensuring you’ve uploaded your CV. Remember to include a covering note. We’ll invite you to an video interview where we’ll discuss your application and the opportunity in more detail.

How can I get more information on a vacancy before applying?

Send us an email with your questions and we’ll be happy to respond. Or go ahead and apply anyway and we can answer your questions at the interview.

Can I do the interview face to face instead of video call?

Sorry, no. We don’t have an office for you to come into, as we’re a remotely distributed organisation.

How old do I have to be to volunteer?

Currently, we have a minimum age requirement of 18 years.

How long do I need to volunteer for?

This depends on the project you take on, as some are shorter than others. Ideally you should commit to at least three months to get the most out of the experience.

Can I volunteer if I live outside of the UK?

No. Our volunteering opportunities are available only for UK residents who have the right to work here.
