FAQs ABOUT DONATING CLOTHES

Can you collect clothes?

Yes absolutely. Our partner Thrift+ can arrange a next day collection or you can use one of 7,000 Collect+ drop off points. You can also post for free.

Should I pack my clothes?

Yes, pack your clothes using the bag Thrift+ sent you. If you need a bag, you can order one free directly from Thrift+ via their website.

Do I pay postage?

Postage is free as Thrift+ cover the cost of this. Note, you must only use the bag that Thrift+ provides to qualify for free postage.

Which brands do you take?

Thrift+ accepts only recognisable clothing brands items that are in good condition. Refer to their website for the brands they accept.

What do you do with my clothes?

Thrift+ resells your clothes on their website and shares the proceeds with us. Reselling online saves the cost of running physical charity shops.

Do you take worn or damaged clothes?

No. Thrift+ can only accept clothes in good condition without damage. If you send damaged clothes you may be charged a postage and/or disposal fee.

Can I send clothes to the children you help?

No, we don’t do this as it is damaging to the children’s local economy, and is an expensive administrative and logistical cost to our charity.
